My work is aimed at couples who choose a place not for the view, but because of the feeling it evokes. I love architecture: columns, marble staircases, light that falls through tall windows in the afternoon. My style is editorial, with clear lines, deliberate cuts, and plenty of space.
The place sets the framework. The life in the pictures is created between you and the people you love: the father who doesn’t know where to put his hands in front of the door. The best friend who laughs at her speech first and then cries. The dance floor at two o’clock in the morning, when no one else is thinking about photos. This creates images that look like they came from a magazine and feel like your day.
I work with couples who have a sense of aesthetics, architecture, and atmosphere. They don’t seek the perfect day, but one that feels like their own. And photos in which they can still find themselves twenty years from now.

International weddings don't require a different narrative - just a different environment. My work as a destination wedding photographer remains precise, reduced and focussed on the essentials.
The place frames the story – not the other way around.

My work is characterised by clarity and restraint. Light, space and structure play a central role - regardless of the location.
I accompany weddings internationally with a documentary, editorial approach. The focus is on presence, timing and a visual language that endures.

Write me your date, your location, and a few sentences about what is important to you about your wedding through the contact form. I will check if I am available on your date and contact you personally within 48 hours, by phone or email.
If the date is available, we arrange a video call. In it, I get to know you, you tell me about your plans, and I immediately quote the price for your wedding. This way, after the first conversation, you know exactly what to expect. If you don’t already have a planner, I’d be happy to recommend someone from my network.
Everything is arranged for you; you will receive the contract and your date is reserved for you. Until the wedding, I will accompany you in planning the day’s events so that there is enough time for light, couple photos and the moments that are important to you.
Most couples book nine to twelve months before the wedding. For Saturdays between May and September, it’s worth asking earlier; I already book some appointments a year and a half to two years in advance.
I live in Germany and I accompany weddings all over Europe and beyond. Of the over 100 weddings I have accompanied, at least 40 were in Italy, including on Lake Como, in Tuscany, on Lake Garda, in Rome and on the Amalfi Coast. I have also accompanied other weddings in Provence, on the Côte d’Azur, on Mallorca, in Austria, in Cappadocia, as well as in Switzerland, Spain, England, Ireland, Greece and Mexico.
For the most part of the day, I work in a documentary style. I keep my distance and photograph what is happening without creating or repeating moments. For the couple photos, I provide clear instructions. My perspective is editorial, influenced by fashion and magazines: architecture, light, and composition play a big role for me.
To make everything feel easy on the day itself, I discuss your wishes in detail with you beforehand. From this, I create a shooting board with ideas and visual concepts for your wedding. When your wedding planner has created a mood board, this is also taken into account, so images, location, and styling fit together from the very beginning. It is important to me that you experience your day and not play for the camera.
Yes. In addition to digital processing, I also shoot on 35mm film. Analog film has a depth and warmth that cannot be replicated digitally, and the images feel like memories from an old family album. With Super 8, I capture movement: short, uncut scenes with grain and color that seem like film from another time. Both can be added as a complement to photography.
For aerial photography, I have a drone pilot's license and a drone registered in the EU. This way, you can also get your location from a perspective that is not possible from the ground, provided that the location and the regulations in place allow it.
Yes. At most weddings, I am accompanied by other photographers from my team. There is a simple reason for this: Many of my weddings are large, last for several days, and often things happen at the same time, such as the bride and groom getting ready in different locations or the reception of the guests while we are taking couple photos. I can’t share them; my team can. This means we don’t miss a moment, and your gallery will be correspondingly larger.
For the wedding film, I work with videographers from my network whose style suits me. If you want content for social media already during the wedding, content creators complement the team. I know all the people I work with personally and have selected them myself. The visual language remains the same throughout, from the initial planning to the finished gallery.

„We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer.
It was important to us not to plan the day down to the smallest detail or to fake any photos. We wanted someone who captures the real moments, and Lisa has done that so professionally.
In advance, we didn’t give them much input due to professional and time constraints. However, Lisa immediately understood us and our style and created exactly the images we wanted in retrospect with incredible creativity and intuition. The preparation and communication with Lisa were as uncomplicated as one could only wish for during the full preparation phase of a wedding as a bride.
During the wedding weekends (Lisa photographed both our civil and church wedding), she was always at the right place at the right time, being pleasant and unobtrusive and full of positive energy. The photos do not seem staged at all; they capture the mood and emotions of the days just as we experienced them. We were also very impressed by how quickly we received our photos.
If you are looking for a photographer who not only takes beautiful photos, but also captures the day with great sensitivity, creativity, and an exceptional eye for aesthetics, we can wholeheartedly recommend Lisa to you. We would choose her again anytime.
Many, many thanks, dear Lisa, for your effort, professionalism and warmth.“
From over 100 weddings I know that whether a day feels relaxed usually depends on the flow of events.
Plan enough buffer time, especially when getting ready. Hair and makeup almost always take longer than expected, and when things get tight, the pressure builds throughout the day. With a little leeway, there’s time for the quiet moments before the wedding, and those are often the most beautiful images later on.
Keep the group photos short and write a list beforehand. When your witnesses gather the people together, it’s done in a few minutes, and you’ll be back with your guests quickly.
And discuss the schedule with me in advance. I can quickly see where things are getting tight and where there isn’t enough time for photos. Ideally, you should have a wedding planner on your side, with whom I can then coordinate the schedule together. If you don’t already have one, I would be happy to recommend someone from my network.
