Braccialieri is located in the Contrada Seggio, a few kilometres from Avola, in the heart of the Val di Noto in south-eastern Sicily. This region is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its Late Baroque towns, honey-coloured facades, curved balconies and elaborately decorated churches. You don't have to stage anything; the light breaks against rough walls, casts shadows in archways, and gets caught in old wooden beams. This density of photogenic sights worth seeing in the immediate vicinity is one of the main reasons why a wedding in Sicily in this specific corner of the island is worthwhile. You don't have to drive for hours to get variety in the imagery, everything lies within a manageable radius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who knows my work knows that I prefer to photograph weddings in a documentary style and with elements of analogue Photography <\/a>capture on 35mm film, complemented by Super 8 footage<\/a> for the moving memories.
